Daylight Savings Time

I bitch about it every year (well, every 6 months). I hate daylight savings time. Now, this year they're changing it. What about all the devices that change automatically like VCR's and pocket PC's? I keep seeing articles about Pocket PC's and how to fix it - but it's more than a 2 step process. Stupid Microsoft doesn't just send auto updates like they do with PC's. I have alarm clocks that auto update. What about those? Argh. I think they changed it just to piss off and confuse people.

Chicks

Wow. I'm sitting here tonight and just saw the Dixie Chicks win song of the year for "Not Ready to Make Nice". That is so incredibly cool! It's just so sad that they had to go through what they did back when Natalie said what she said about that moron in the White House. Americans can be so damn two-faced.

UPDATE: The Dixie Chicks swept all five categories in which they were nominated, including song of the year, album of the year and record of the year. (Woohoo!!)

Reba

Damn CW. Reba is being canceled because it 'supposedly' didn't fit into the demographic of viewers it wants. The desired demographic is from 25 to 35. Last I checked, I fit almost right in the middle of that. It's one of their highest rated shows even though its been in a piss-poor timeslot. Oh well, let's be honest... I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did.

CW's most-watched comedy (3.67 million viewers), ahead of all four of

Lasik Update

I went to the doc today for my 2 week follow up. Things are looking good. My left eye is nearly perfect. He says my right eye looks like it will change a little yet. I was told to use the eyedrops for another week and come check in with him again. I can't tell ya how glad I am that I got this done.
